The St Albans Saints were defeated four nil at the hands of a dominant Green Gully side at Green Gully Reserve on Saturday evening.
Dinamo were keen to further build on their positive result against Kingston City in the previous round.
Indeed coach Kruni Razov had a full squad up for selection with the only exclusion being Daniel Chabaani.
Rodrigo Covarrubias fronted the side’s attack while Johnny Lazaridis and captain Ryan McGuffie anchored the centre of defence.
Unfortunately for the visitors, the start of the match was anything but ideal as the hosts scored a close range header to gain the early lead.
Possession was heavily contested in the middle of the park with Gully ensuring pressure was placed on every exchange.
Dinamo had minimal glimpses of the ball as the structure of the hosts stretched them towards both flanks while creating large gaps in play.
The Saints had no scoring opportunities despite a somewhat solid defensive unit with Nana Yaw and Lazaridis being key figures in the back line.
In a similar fashion to the first, Gully again scored in the opening minute of play in the second half which doubled their advantage.
Razov made several substitutions in an attempt to strengthen a seemingly absent forward line.
Despite the changes, it was the hosts whom again added to their scoresheet after converting a penalty awarded to them following a mistimed tackle in the area.
A fourth and final goal was scored to seal the three points for the hosts, while the Saints were yet again forced to come to terms with the errors made.
Dinamo will next face the Bulleen Lions in two weeks time.
